LEGO League
First LEGO League (FLL) is a global program created to enable kids to work as young scientists, engineers, mathematicians and creative writers. In this fun, high-energy program girls are engaged in research, problem solving and engineering. They also learn friendly sportsmanship, learning, and community development.
Our FLL teams set their own practice sessions and participate in friendly robotic competitions with other teams across the state. Qualifying teams will attend the Utah FLL Championship in January. Girl Scouts of Utah is the sponsor of the Junior First LEGO League Showcase (K-3), which is also held in January.
Girl Ages 5-14 who are registered as an individual, in a troop, and friends who are not current Girl Scouts are encouraged to participate (girls must register as a Girl Scout). GSU offers scholarships for individual girls and troops whoa re interested in this STEM program.
